The Bergischer Holzbaupreis - as an institution of SDW (Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald) with the district associations Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis and Oberbergischer Kreis and the Regional Forstry Office Bergisches Land - awarded for the seventh time "outstanding construction projects built or renovated with wood". In this context, the jury awarded a special prize for the pylon bridge over the Agger at Engelskirchen town hall.
