Description:

This is currently the largest timber green bridge in Europe and crosses the B101 between Luckenwalde and Trebbin. The entire arch structure is made of laminated larch and parts of the ceiling could be mounted on a single installation weekend. In order to protect the construction from moisture a special sealing layer is applied onto the plywood ceiling. So far it is only the second timber green bridge. However, it was able to convince due to low costs and short installation times. So it is quite possible that some of the 90 other planned green crossing structures in germany are going to be carried out in timber.
